Do frats not talk to you unless youre in a top tier sorority? My friend in Adpi told me that everyone wants to be a part of their sorority because theyre the hottest and guys love them, whether it be asking them out to semis or exchange... Is this true?

Im only asking this because i want to rush next year, but i dont really want to be in a "top tier" because theres too much pressure to be perfect/ho, etc etc. yet i still want to make guy friends and talk to boys...

Im not trying to make anyone look bad! This girl is my bff and i do agree with her sorority being very good looking, but i just dont think its a good fit for me! I want to rush but i also want to know if looks and being top tier really does make or break you.. I feel like im already going to be at a disadvantage rushing as a second year next year

It doesn't make or break you. It seriously depends on your personality. Put yourself out there, be polite, don't cause drama and people will like you regardless of your affiliation.

Well put. i woudnt say UBC has tiered sororities or fraternities. Just go where feels comfortable and you will love it.
