Pros: looking good, happiness from looking good, potentially attracting new mates, being able to give old clothes to charity, positive feelings for you from knowing you gave to charity, positive impact on buyers of old clothes for knowing they got a deal, etc.
Cons: more expensive, supporting industry which may be harmful to the environment, potential for mates to prefer your old clothes instead of your new clothes, increased unhappiness at the possibility of getting stains on your clothes, etc.
