spring rush

Hi!
I rushed in the fall but it didn't feel like the right thing for me at that time - I was pretty overwhelmed. Not with the process alone, but that alongside suddenly living alone in a new city and trying to make friends and figuring out school and work and clubs and all that. A few people told me that it's less hectic in the spring, and I'm pretty settled in now, so I'd like to give it another shot.
My questions:
- What should I expect in regards to Spring vs Fall rush?
- Will they remember me from before and think it's weird that I'm going through recruitment again?
- Do you have any tips in general for making a good impression on the sorority(ies) you like?
- How much does GPA matter and is there a way to find out the minimum avg. before joining?
