spring rush

If I came for tours but skipped on invitationals, can I still do Spring rush for girls? Will girls remember you? Im afraid that some girls may recognize me and go "oh why are you still trying... When you been here before and didnt get a bid..." What now? Should I just not join and try again nextseason?

Yes, you can still do Spring Rush. There have been girls who had to drop formal recruitment due to many reasons: work, flu, etc.

No, only the chapters that didn't meet their quota. Last year I think there was maybe 1 or 2 that did spring rush?

I know a decent amount of sororities actually did spring COB through panhel, while others did spring COB but by invite-only.

The Spring Rush as mentioned in the name will begin next term assuming the sororities have not met quota or needs new members and wants to do cob. Therefore the numbers of sororities actually participating in Spring Rush will vary.
Also sororities will decide whether to open it up via UBC Sororities or just do invite-only.
The best way to know about Spring Rush is to contact or keep yourself updated to UBC Sororities FB page to get the information.
You get to meet the girls on a more informal level but not all chapters may be participating.

A lot of people think that Spring Rush is easier to get a bid but it is really either or. Sometimes its even harder to get a bid because the girls have higher standards and often times thered be 10 girls going for 2 spots

Coming from someone who joined through cob it is harder in the sense that recruiting chapters have higher standards and they don't have to give a bid out if they don't want to unlike formal recruitment. Since there are limited spots they tend to be pickier.
