What is wrong with APHI

I was recently at PDT formal and was shocked with the behaviour of APHI dates. Seems like it’s common trend based on recent posts here. Some showed up didn’t speak to their dates and were just blatantly rude while others took the entire night to gossip in the bathroom. Made the night entirely about themselves and the look on the faces of their dates were miserable. I’m told PDT pay out of pocket for formal as well so double sucks for anyone who made the mistake of choosing an APHI
