COB info for the fall?

Didn’t do rush this year and wondering how COB works. Which sororities usually recruit after the fact, and how have people who have done it find the experience?

COB takes places either in fall or spring if chapters need girls. No all chapters will be open. It is a one day process and it is not guaranteed as there are only limited spots available. I went through COB for KKG just to find out they pick their girls prior so don’t go through COB w them if you’re looking for a fair placement! Good luck

Depends. It changes every year. Just turn on notifs for the strats IG pages cause some of them do it in the fall and some do it in spring

dm chapters introducing yourself and let them know you’re interested in cob! most chapters will still be doing cob this fall :)

top houses like adpi, dg, gphi, aphi and kkg will be snap bidding tonight (quick COB) if you didn’t sign a bid card and still wanted a house, ONLY if you didn’t sign a bid. if you did and didn’t get the house to want, you have to re rush next year. anyone who didn’t rush at all and wants to be COBd - best idea is to message the chapter you want to see if they are offering any more bids tonight.

this is a reply to ...^ how does snap bidding work? because i left the mest after i found out the chapter i didn't want bid me.. so i didn't do anything. but considering COB if it's possible for the one i wanted

unfortunately that’s not how it works, if you showed up to bid day it means you signed an MRBA so you can’t receive another bid until next year

if you signed a bid card yesterday you can’t be snapped. if you didn’t sign the bid card with your top 1/2 houses you can still COB

can u be snapped by a chapter that u weren't at preference of? but u were at invitionals of? i didn't sign a bid card i just left
