by:

Do y'all think it would be a good idea to rush just for fun to meet people, can and do people do that?(I have no intention of actually joining a sorority )

Yes but if you say that at all or imply that in any way during the rush process…you will never be picked to move along in rush and will probs pay a ton of money just to be the first person booted out of rounds cause you just don’t want to join. Like during rush we ask a lot of questions that are genuine as well as purposeful with incentive. I’m basically saying, why would you pay money for an experience when you won’t have the experience and will get booted, waste ur money, feel defeated, unless you pretend the entire time, which is never fun. So honestly it’s up to you but I wouldn’t recommend, unless you wanna see if it works out for you! Then go ahead!

Hi stella,
Recruitment isn’t fun and games like it is for frats. Recruitment for sororities is long and hard lol it goes for days and it’s hours of your life, energy and time into talking to random girls that you won’t get back, also it costs a fee to go through formal recruitment. so pointless if you’re not doing it with the intentions of going through with joining

idk what the point would be? you can meet the girls from just going to parties, events etc. Sorority recruitment is long hours and commitment, not fun and hanging out like the frats. Also, I would be surprised if the few girls you met stayed close with you after you didn’t join any org.

also you’d be wasting everyone’s time, which is never nice
