This might be long sorry! Here’s my advice. Rush is very different in Canada, but I’d say it’s much more relaxed, and it’s actually very easy to get in every sorority as long as you study how they act and what they’re looking for. KKG is known as the top sorority, but they’re known to base a lot of their choices by looks or social media. They aren’t known as mean but…they’re known as superficial. ADPI is a top sorority that I wouldn’t recommend, their rep seems to be falling, they’re known for a huge drop rate, bullying, and low diversity. GPHI is a top tier that also a little catty, but still very very good, havent heard that much bad from them. DG is probably the top sorority that is the nicest out of all of them. AGD is great if you want party personalities and very social girls but they start a lot of stupid drama and gossip a lot. A very childish group. APHI is great for partying and having fun, they’re super involved, very down to earth. AOII is known as the nice sorority, they’re sisterhood is probably the strongest because you don’t hear of any drama, they accept very diverse groups every year. The only reason ppl wouldn’t recommend them is because their the knewest strat, so they got a lot of work to do still. Theta is known as the studious sorority if your an academic. Just join where you connect with the girls the most, not based on superficial stuff or who’s the best. We don’t rlly care that much about that here.

^ this may be long. But it’s hard to say. In general each sorority is supposed to recruit girls who follow their values. You can find the values on each strats website or on UBC sororities Instagram. Also each sorority I think has a motto and mission statement and they base recruitment around that. In all seriousness though each strat does base recruitment around usually who they like. AGD goes for sporty girls who are really sorta loud and social. Girl who are very involved socially. AOII goes for girls who blend well with their current groups personality, usually aiming for girls with a diversity of backgrounds (they don’t go for one “type” of girl) they love diversifying their group but they aim to go for ambitious and driven types. KKG goes for popular pretty girls who are very girly and feminine. ADPI kinda goes for those kinda TikTok aritzia girls, you know the black leggings and Starbucks types. Basically…white. GPHI also goes for diverse groups but they do like going for confident girls. theta goes for very academically committed girls, love to go for girls who are very involved in school and bubbly. APHI goes for sorta down to earth outdoorsy girls who are really active I think. DG goes for the sorta pretty girls who are also insanely involved, they try to get the best of both worlds with their girls.

Honestly I think the best sororities to go for if you want a really good authentic experience are APHI, DG, AGD, GPHI, And AOII. The rest are kinds known to be superficial or have issue, not that the others aren’t amazing in their own ways, KKG and ADPI were always considered too but personally I don’t think you’ll have the best time if all ur focused on us popularity, Instagram followers, or who’s hotter. You’d find less stress and more experience at sororities that prioritize sisterhood, experience, love, and friendship.
