do any greek relationships work

does anyone know any functional couples in the greek system? or is all hope lost

if two people are committed they can do anything. lots of great couples have come out of the greek system and are still together. If you are coming into the greek system in a relationship thats tough and another story. Year 1 and Year 2 are messy.

Agreed. Usually year 1 and 2 people don't quite know how to act and are testing the waters with hookups, but by third year most people get tired of it and are starting to be more interested in leaving the old ways and finding something more stable. I would even say those who have good bfs/gfs in the greek system also tend to be more committed to their relationships because they always hear about f-ed up things and keep their eyes out for bad situations. At the end of the day you have to trust each other and keep making the best choices for yourself and your relationship.

I think if most ppl had the OPTION they would wanna be cuffed it's just hard because the good ones are taken. Or we are still in love with our ex.

Facts I actually think I’m more invested in my relationship because I am in the Greek system and I’m constantly in environments that people in relationships who aren’t fully committed would not survive in.
