Don’t think having good parties somehow excuses years of being creepy to woman, making girls feel unsafe, and harassment allegations. Also doesn’t excuse the way they treat the girls they’re with and their public responses and handling of allegations.
I think beta is a great frat all around, I personally, like many of you, feel safe when I go there and haven’t had a negative experience with them. But I’m smart enough to recognize that my own experience doesn’t eliminate the experiences of other woman and just because people are nice to me doesn’t mean they aren’t guilty of that behaviour. I had fun at their recent party but I’m gonna keep all that stuff in the back of my head in the future.

^^I think this is a rlly genuine, well thought out response that ppl should def take in. Whatever frat you like or whatever you think about a certain frat, we can’t just ignore the experiences of other woman or easily forgive and move past men’s behaviour. Watching the stuff posted on GR about bet has been disturbing. Yes a lot of it was absolutely twisted by people and some not true but a lot was and in the past few years the general idea of beta is most people think they’re fun but a few people will have had horrific experiences with the men and have had their experiences dismissed. Not saying we should hold a grudge on the beta boys, but we shouldn’t let them off the hook or base our entire opinions of them on one good weekend and some occasional interactions. That’s never smart.

their last two parties make me think they're already there, at least to ppl outside greek life. The two times I've gone this year have been pretty wild, they put so much into the party setup
