Info about Sorority dues
by: helloHii! I’m looking to join a sorority but i also want to keep in mind the dues while choosing which sorority to join. I don’t want it to be a surprise when i join. Does anyone have any info about which sororities have lower dues and which ones have significantly higher dues? Don’t have to mention any figures. Thank you!

This is something that may be difficult to get a straight answer on from any chapter as members are typically discouraged to talk about finances/reveal any numbers during recruitment. However, from what I gather it seems upper tier sororities tend to have the heftier, all inclusive dues, while lower tiers will often have smaller dues with options to pay out of pockets for things like formal, etc. All dues generally fall within a similar range regardless of your chapter, and many have payment plan options to help offset the cost.

I’m assuming ur looking for a straight answer so I’ll give u one. In ur first year in a sorority it will be about $1400 (unless it’s online and then fees will be significantly lesser). Every year that your in a sorority the fees become lesser but still usually over $1000. Yes some sprites will have lower fees and some will have higher but this is a relatively standard number

Lol this isn't true at all. "Tiers" play no difference in dues at all. Stop thinking that being in a top 4 chapter makes you better or more special than others. Last I heard, the most expensive dues were AGD.
Guys its not 2016 anymore. "Tiers" are barely a thing now since there isn't much competition in recruitment anymore. Girls who end up in non-top 4 chapters do so because they wanted to be there, not because they got cut by top chapters.
