its strange cause I feel it used to be quite common. unfortunately guys/girls would get themselves into situations where there is lots of drinking/ partying going on and lots of attractive people and one thing leads to another. at the same time there are a lot of super committed relationships in the greek system (people who really dont put themselves in those situations). So yes and no.

be careful if he has a reputation. men seek attention from other men and they get attention by upholding their frat boy status. you are exceptional but you are not an exception and don’t trust his friends, they are his brothers and not yours. Also trust issues loool

really only the seniors have good intentions. Otherwise many brothers are enablers to cheating because of the status that comes with fking a lot of girls. I really don’t get it but it’s the truth. pick wisely because it’s so so easy to be hurt in the system

I’ve seen it happen in the Greek system as much as I’ve seen it happen outside of it, people do get carried away at parties but anyone that would cheat at a party is just as likely to be enough of an a hole to cheat outside of one. If your morals weren’t high enough to stay loyal when you were tempted with other girls/guys at parties it’s extremely likely your morals just aren’t high enough in general to stay loyal even outside of parties

I’ve seen so many successful and respectful relationships from the Greek system but also some really bad ones. The ultimate trust does come from letting your s/o go out and if they cheat, they weren’t worthy of your time anyways and move on to da next one, and if they loyal at a party they a keeper

honestly just be smart. I started dating a guy in 4th year who lived in the house. I told him flat out if you wanted this to get serious (which he did) Im not taking any flirting or crossing the line. He basically told me he wouldn't put himself in those situations and he didn't. We are still together. Depends how much you both want it and what his reputation is like. I do believe people change as they get older and I dont believe once a cheater always a cheater. Just my two cents.

no I dont make out with guys wtf Im straight. I have a gf and have slipped up and ended up making out/hooking up with girls when drunk. But I love only her ❤
