Red flags when seeing a frat boy

by:

Don’t know where else to ask so here we go. What are some red flags to look out for if you’re seeing/interested in an older frat boy? I’m in first year but have been kind of seeing this older guy for a few weeks.

Does it mean anything if a lot of girls comment on his pics (he says they’re just friends) or if he tells you he’s studying but you know he’s actually partying (but just with guys. at least I think). A few more things but are these even bad or am I just worrying for no reason? What are some red flags in general to look out for?

If a guy really likes you, you will know. Most girls have been in your position before and sorry to say but he probably sees it as casual. Keep hooking up if you want, but don't tell yourself he wants anything more than that.

I feel like it’s just context lmao there’s definitely guys who have platonic female friends who would comment but also a lot of guys in frats who get comments from hookups etc

As a girl who comments on guys photos, I’m genuinely wondering what’s wrong with it? It’s normal to find guys attractive it doesn’t automatically mean I’m trying to get in his pants just because I say he looks cute in a photo

I get what you are saying but would you comment cutie or hot af to a guy that is in a long term relationship with a girl cause personally I feel that is disrespectful and I wouldn't do that, just saying........

Yikes, a lot of these comments are making assumptions on your relationship. If he’s lying to you about partying, there’s clearly a trust issue but I wouldn’t go further than that to say it’s a red flag.

I would encourage an open and honest talk with your man about his lying. A relationship is built together, so as long as you approach the conversation from an understanding point of view (and he’s not literally a sociopath), then you’re good to go!

Or just pull the classic first year move and blow up your self-image with social BS due to lack of worldly experience lmao
