Do sororities care if you have no social media?

I’m a first year and I wanted to rush but I missed the deadline to sign up for formal recruitment. I don’t like or use any social media (I have snap and ig but only for my really close friends that live far, and my ig is always deactivated).

I just don’t care about social media. I never have and never will, have just heard enough stories about it being toxic that I don’t care to try. Is this a bad look for recruitment?

If an organization won't accept you because you choose not to post pictures of yourself on an app, it's probably not an organization worth joining. But I think most sororities wouldn't mind and would see it as admirable if anything.

But there’s another post on here that says you need at least 700 ig followers?

700 is low, implies you aren't social enough or are unattractive.

If you don't have social media you better be really hot.

around 900 to 1200 followers is a good range

Yikes, well that settles it. I guess if people care that much about social media that you have to have a certain number of followers to fit in, I don’t belong or want to belong in the Greek system anyways.

its best if you have a strong social media, especially if recruiting is still online for the foreseeable future. its an easy way to stay up to date on info and also make connections w ur sorority and PC if you get a bid
