Greek System Legends

Mine was the president of the sorority that I actually didnt end up joining (ADPi, not this year lol) during her pref speech.... just hearing her talk made me realize I wanted to be that lol

this is basically it! always kind and representing the greek system so well. I thought the guys were so cute and I couldn't wait to see what these older girls would wear to formals and parties (so yes I did look up to a few of these peeps).

I just joined my sorority this year and I’ve noticed a lot of people talk about how amazing the 2017 pledge classes were all across the board and about them being the only “relevant” people left. Just out of curiosity what made those classes so much better than later years?

I would like to know as well, what makes these people so liked and admired. Not a diss at all (I have heard of most of them, even know some and they all seem like decent human beings) but what sets them apart and why is every other PC besides 2017 garbage?

Top 4 all had a really, really strong pledge class each that year, looks AND personality wise. The new top 4 pledge classes don't compare. Most of the top 4 new pledge classes would be considered middle tier quality in 2017 standards. A lot of the frats had really good pledge classes that year too.

A controversial legend for sure. The cause of 90% of the Greek System's drama in 2017/18/19 until she left UBC.

I heard she stirred up so much drama at an Alpha Delt party one year and literally got into a physical fight with another girl and brother.

I don’t know anyone who actually thinks she’s iconic? Like literally never heard people say positive things abt her, especially the ones that knew her a long time which is pretty telling. And trying to still hang around the Greek system so much 2-3 years after graduating is just sad to me tbh.

Idk about “iconic” she lost a lot of friends/wasn’t popular in her own chapter due to how she treated people.

Iconic as in everyone knows her even if in a bad way.. no one becomes a legend by being a nice person

Lots of people become “a legend” by having a lot of friends that think highly of them. Not the case here. Being loud is not the same thing as being admired. And as for a lot of people knowing who you are, that fades within a year or two after you graduate especially when most of those people have negative things to say.
