TEXTBOOKS (too embarrassed to ask for advice irl)
by: freshmansorry i’m doing this here, don’t want to embarrass myself irl if it’s an obvious answer, but how quickly do textbooks show up on your booklist? only one of mine has shown up yet and i’m 99% sure i’ll need them for my science and math classes so there should be more i think? im trying to buy them before classes start but don’t know where to find them outside of my booklist... is it normal for them to not show up even 5 days before classes? or should i email my professors

Oh that’s totally okay! One thing I’d say is unless you’re 100% sure you aren’t going to drop your courses don’t buy the book before. Sometimes the prof won’t tell you what textbooks you need until the day of the first lecture. So don’t panic! If you’re lucky the prof will provide the text so it’s free
