my roommate is trying to get me blacklisted

I connected with my roommate on the UBC class of 2023 page last year. We met at orientation and I thought things went well. Apparently not from her point of view. We're both not local but she's from BC and knows a some other people from her hometown in sororities and I'm from far out of BC and don't know nearly as many girls. Anyway, I found out she confided in someone that she doesn't like me at all and is going to try to get me blacklisted, especially from the "top 4" sororities where she has friends. I've done nothing wrong! Honestly, I think she's jealous of me. How much power does she have to ruin my recruitment? I'm scared!

Honestly unless you actually did something messed up you will be fine. Especially if she is not a member. Theres a difference between "I don't rlly like this girl" and blacklisting. Im in a top 4 and we only blacklist for actual reasons and not just "a friend of mine who isn't even in the chapter doesn't like her"

it's not actually possible to be "blacklisted". people say "blacklisted from the top 4" just to scare you and to toot their own horn to make the top 4 seem like a bigger deal than it really is. in reality there is no such thing.
