Why are girls doing 5 years in their sorority

I get that it’s very normal to take 5 years to graduate now but why on earth are girls staying active in their sorority for 5 years??? Like?? Alum in 4th year and get involved in something else in 5th year or rush hostess or something. Can you really not imagine your life without a sorority that you need to stay in for so long? I heard sd in gphi was active for 6 years..

believe it or not, some girls actually enjoy being in their sorority and want to be able to participate in all its events. its a sense of community so if they want to, let them. no need to judge
