Sororities numbers

I know there's a lot of stress right now about lower recruitment numbers and tbh it WILL probably be way lower this year. But we're forgetting that sororities at UBC used to be wayyy smaller than they are even today, chapters were like 40-50 members and everyone could easily have weekly meetings in their chapter rooms. The 40 girl pledge classes of the mid 2010 eras are probably not going to be happening for a while, but if everyone focuses on building the Greek system back up and addressing the issues that we all know exist when it comes to diversity and inclusivity, it's only going to make sororities at UBC stronger. It's a weird time but recruitment numbers have been low in the past and they will improve again in the future if sororities are seen as something on campus that's a positive thing to be a part of.
