Aphi?

by:

I'm incoming this year, an international student. I've read stuff on here and by the looks of it, everybody hates aphi. But I love their insta vibe and they also appear to be the most international sorority? Only reason why I might want to rush aphi is because of their international group of girls + I'm a legacy. Again, the "top" houses (kkg, adpi, gphi, dg?) all have current members who have friends from high school going to ubc or whatnot, so there's a huge conflict of interest. However I know nobody but my roommate, and she's not from bc either. I'd love to hear some responses about if my decision is smart or not.

Unrelated but gphi and adpi requested me on ig, anyone else? is this supposed to happen

This seems like a bait post, particularly calling yourself a "pnm". APhi, GPhi, ADPi, whatever, all the sororities you mentioned are great and when you go through recruitment you meet every chapter and can make your decision then.

No. That is dirty rushing. ADPi and GPhi are the queens of this. GPhi literally broke the record of most recruitment infractions a sorority has ever gotten this year

It seems that this discussion post was made solely for the purpose of being able to comment this to make gphi/adpi look bad. Seriously, grow up. Your vendetta again gphi/adpi is tiring.

Also aphi and kappa love to dirty rush, kappa picks out so many girls based on high school friendships and the "hot" new ubc girls based on insta, while aphi personally reaches out to girls, and literally takes all of the girls who were blacklisted by the top 4

Lmaooo yeah right this is not written by a "pnm" and is such a weird post. Stop trying to stir the pot.

This dumb post is obviously bait but...If you were an international student how would you know that KKG, ADPi, GPhi and DG have friends from high school going to UBC? And how would you know that APhi is "international" from their insta? If by international you mean diverse, then I'm guessing you're saying international to mean "not from the U.S." in which case how would you be an APhi legacy?

I feel like this post is trying to simultaneously imply that everyone "hates" aphi and that the top 4 sororities are dirty rushing all at the same time while claiming to be a pnm and it shows

Honestly this is such a messy post for so many reasons. But also I genuinely wouldn’t say aphi is the most international? I know of plenty of both local and international girls in the Greek system and why is this post trying to divide us and stir drama lol lord. I know of plenty of girls in some mid-bottom stays that are international, and like 35% of the girls in my top 4 are international. This post is so dumb.

Do they actually think deleting negative reviews is going to make a real difference? They should pick girls who just genuinely like them, at which point they’d actually be able to grow as a chapter. So far their best members are only in aphi because they originally joined from other schools and then transferred to Ubc. They should re-evaluate their strategies and stop picking blacklisted girls, and they might actually get a quality pc that will help them grow as a chapter.
