The Greek system here is so lame
by: GreekAfter a year in the Greek system here it’s honestly been so lame and boring. Almost never anything fun going on and people are overly dramatic about everything on this site for no reason. Don’t even know what the point of being involved in Greek life is anymore. Seriously considering dropping. I’m from Ontario and the Greek system is so lit at Western.

i kind of have to agree. Panhel is too strict on some things and not enough on others. banning exchanges takes away a major part of the social aspect. western ifc cares way less and chapters have actual houses. they also arent as strict on what goes on inside of them like we have to be in chapter rooms

OP is speaking valid points lmao no one wants to pay $1000+ when greek life here has literally become shiz. Every little thing is scrutinized by IFC and Panhellenic Council. Banning parties, exchanges. They basically treat us like kids and it makes sense people don’t wanna be told what to do when they PAY for membership.
