Umm evidence because I’ve been an SA victim at the frats and so have plenty of my close friends... it’s not jumping to conclusions when this stuff is happening to a lot of girls. Hopefully the Greek system is capable of growth and change.

Idk man I’m so conflicted on whether i support that account because I feel like it could make the Greek systems reputation even worse than it already is and possibly shut frats down, but also I am a SA victim and very aware of the blatant racism in this community. All of it is true, but what is the point of sharing it on the account if not to slander the Greek system? Unsure

I agree ^, but the one good thing about the account is it will force orgs to change or die out. I personally would rather them die out if frats can’t hold brothers accountable, I don’t want more young girls to go through SA. But what I hate is that it mostly seems to be sororities making changes right now to distance themselves from the frats... it should be the other way around.

Huh? They said that they were a victim themselves - plus you are in the Greek system so aren’t you afraid that your sorority or frat may get shut down? I don’t think anyone should stay quiet (in fact be loud and demand change); however, the platform in which it’s happening may have detrimental effects and even possibly trigger victims or invoke bullying

its not lies. Im sorry if you want to think that. Women in the Greek system have been ignored for so long and your attitude towards this show why. Instead of calling every allegation maybe think about how considering that less than 1% of allegations being false, a lot of people are coming forward. I don't necessarily agree with how it is being done, but as someone who experienced SA at the ends of a fraternity executive as a new member I can understand why these women only feel comfortable sharing via anonymous instagram. Frats will ignore women who come forward if it damages their rep. I did not come forward because I was terrified of being accused of trying to ruin the Greek system. BE BETTER.

Very sorry that happened to you. However, it's important to consider that the "less than 1%" statistic has to do with cases brought to the legal system. In those cases, allegations that turn out to be false have legal ramifications that deter people from lying. Since these particular allegations are being brought forth on an anonymous Instagram account there is no backlash whatsoever to people who choose to lie, which I think greatly decreases the likelihood of the stories being truthful. This is not to say the stories aren't important, but I think the platform used is abhorrent.

Seems the dke accusations are well founded, but how are you certain the other ones are true? Saddens me to see people are so quick to jump to conclusions without evidence.
