What’s wrong with black fishing?
by: ConfusedSorry I’m reading about it on here and other sites and I’m really confused about how it’s bad? It’s your own face, you should be allowed to do whatever you want with it if you think it looks good! I don’t think anyone should be able to stop you from doing makeup a certain way. Imo telling someone they can’t express themselves is discrimination in itself

The problem is that Black women are discriminated against for wearing their natural hair or certain features while other women, other POC or white, are celebrated for using these hair styles or makeup to emulate Black features. Society will celebrate Kim K for wearing braids but will call Zendayas locks “smelly”. Same goes for skin color and tanning. Someone wanting to “look good” is not more important than the discrimination Black women face. Please please learn about what discrimination actually is because “Becky wanting to lay her edges or get overly tan” IS NOT ITTTTTTT.
