Rushing as a fourth year
by: personHow feasible is it to rush as a fourth year as someone who will do a fifth year due to co-op? I'm sure people have done it. But how would it work when you are like 2-3 years older than a potential pledge class?
#1by: Hi
I rushed in 3rd year.
It's fine to be in 4th year as long as you're doing a 5th year. Honestly rushing in 1st year isn't that common anymore. Most of the pledge classes were made up of 2nd years followed by 1st/3rd years. Keep in mind there'll be maturity differences since it will be some girls in your pledge class first times drinking etc which you might find annoying.
I'm assuming you're talking about sororities btw. If you're rushing the frats then it's even less of a big deal cause their pledge classes always have guys ranging from between 18 and 24

Thanks for the insight.
I was ambiguous, but I was speaking for both sides. However, I am speaking for the frat side (but someone from the srat side may gain insight about this too, so that is why I didn't want to preclude the srats part by not mentioning frats only).
Then again, it would also depend on whether fall rush happens.
