The middle tier..................

no hate on them, i think people are just saying they've gone downhill. But tbh all chapters have. It seems like agd has been less social so their relations aren't as good as they once were. ALso arent as involved with Panhel and other chapters, so its not just frat relations.

If you think about the two middle tier chapters (APhi and then AGD) yes there is a big difference between them looks and frat relations-wise but AGD is miles ahead of APhi in certain things like sports and chapter involvement. I have friends in AGD and it genuinely seems like they have a great sisterhood and want to be really involved, APhi has been known to have some chapter drama so I think it just depends what you value and look for in your sorority experience. Both are solid mid but just for different things. If you combined APhis looks/partying with AGD’s involvement and sports you’d get such a killer chapter lol

im not in either chapter but imo involvement is sorta important in determining tier? if no one in ur chapter goes to other phils or takes positions ur chapter mems are rlly just paying $1000 a year to party

Not everyone joins a sorority for the same things. Some girls DO care about sports and involvement, and therefore a chapter like AGD would be better for them. If partying and fraternity relations are more important to you then by all means APhi is the better chapter for you and you will have way more fun. But IMO by the time you're in fourth year, you're going to have a different view on partying and most people don't wanna spend every weekend at the frats by then. So having a strong sisterhood, philanthropy etc. in your sorority will matter way more to you, and if you're in a chapter totally dictated by what 1st/2nd years like then it's not going to be fun to you.

I've never understood why AGD is considered middle. They seemed on par with AOII when I went through recruitment in 2018. I thought Theta/APhi were the mid tiers, Kappa/ADPi/Gphi top and DG upper mid.

I’ve never heard Theta be called middle tier except by Thetas lol. Especially in the last few years. IMO APhi is the only true mid tier sorority and the rest are bottom but if I had to pick I’d put AGD about Theta and haven’t heard anyone else say otherwise.
