Its a precaution. They have to take the accusations as seriously as possible and that means cancelling & suspending events.

Whether or not the tweets are valid the frats are still under UBC's control. Having restrictions is better than us getting kicked off campus entirely & unfortunately when IFC ran into these issues AMS was looking for a reason to get rid of the Greek system. Everyone misses open parties, but as long as MH & MA are on our ass we need to be careful.

No offence to ifc but why are they making all these new regulations and canceling all the fun events over a tweet which had zero validation to it?
