frat recruitment
by: Lol3What do you have to do to get recruited for frats? How did the recruitment go this year? Does everyone that rushed get a bid and do they do more recruitment through the year?? Anyone know which frat did the best this year

Statistically, Sigma Chi, DKE and Beta did best this year.
For formal fall recruitment, there were two open house rush events, followed by a formal invite-only rush event, then bids day. Plus whatever impromptu events or parties frats would have in between.
Recruitment was good this year. Numbers were pretty good across the board, minus a few organizations.
No, not everyone that rushes gets a bid. There's a higher likelihood that if you attend a formal rush event, you'll get a bid but there's still no guarantee.
UBC's formal recruitment period is over. There will be another one next fall. Some fraternities do run spring pledge classes if they choose to. If you're curious and can't wait till next fall, visit their facebook pages or websites and send them a message or something.
