rushing in a wheelchair

by: Rushing

I'm rushing in the fall but I'm disabled and am in a wheelchair. Would this lower my chances of getting in to a "top" sorority? I'm mostly only interested in kappa, gphi or adpi and I know rush can be competitive for those ones.. will it be awkward/weird for me to rush?

Unrelated to your issue but I'd suggest not having your mind fixed on so called top tier sororities, it really doesn't matter depending on what you're looking for.

It is crucial to find a sorority regardless of tier, etc. that will respect you for who you are. You want to fit in and feel welcome.

You should not use this site (as there are lots of not good comments) and instead ask on Facebook about things like accessibility, etc.

Being in a wheelchair isn't going to decrease your chances of getting into ANY sorority. Having been in the Greek system for a while, while people may get competitive sometimes, but everyone cares about making things accessible for people who need it no matter what chapter they're in
