adshade in trouble

So I sent a pretty civil and honest letter to the Econ department highlighting the discriminating attacks Adshade has been posting on Twitter. Well it seams the faculty Heads are not happy with her behavior towards greek students and will be having a little discussion with her later this week.

If you want to take action I recommend emailing the department heads as well as the UBC Equity office, keep it civil and mature and the greater likelihood they will take your message seriously and take action. Her behavior is seriously out of line and not only is the University starting to realize this but so it the media. Having a civil and mature response to this just makes her actions look really immature.

How did you find out the part about the department heads? I really hope she does not get to teach at UBC after this year is up

To me, it seems her behavior is in clear violation of the UBC "Respectful Environment" policy. Wouldn't hurt to send some emails to the Equity office and let them know we aren't okay with being bullied by a faculty member.

Equity office will just refer you to contact the faculty heads. if you want to send an email send it to patrick.francois@ubc.ca
