what happened to dg?
by: WhatDG used to be known for being fairly hot but their initiation/pledge class photo on their insta from this year is full of girls that NEVER would have gotten DG bids 4/5 years ago. They have zero of the blonde, hot girls that they used to be known for but guess their chapter’s totally slipped

From a friend that was on Panhel: girls that cross rushed APhi and DG, girls were suicide bidding APhi to try and make sure they wouldn’t end up in DG

I literally just heard to guys talking about this the other day, DG has not been known for being good looking for a long time now, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi and ADPi all surpassed them by a long shot

How is it not true? All you have to do is look at DG's insta/pledge class photos compared to the other sororities (APhi/GPhi/Kappa/ADPi) to see what a huge difference there is in looks now. I think anyone with eyes can agree that those chapters have been consistently recruiting better and have prettier girls than DG

Alpha Phi got gorgeous imo especially looking at their social media, how good of a pledge class they got this year etc. They have solid frat relations and are close with other sororitys, and they have good turnouts at their events/get invited to a lot of semis/formals and they consistently have the majority of their girls cross rush other top tiers.
They just aren't considered one of the "traditional" top sororities. Having been in a different "top" sorority for a few years and having close friends in APhi I really don't see how they're not. Only criticism I would say is not branching out with their frat relations as much and sticking mostly to the one fraternity but I see that improving with some of their girls

True, I’m in a frat and after getting to know the new kappa pledge class 90% are drop dead gorgeous

I genuinely don’t know why they’re still considered top tier? They haven’t been thought of as hot for a while now. Alpha Phi, ADPi, Kappa and GPhi all had hotter pledge classes and are just overall prettier imo
