by: COOLCan everyone stop focussing on the idea of top and bottom sororities? I am in a "middle tier" organization and I look at all organizations as equal to myself. ADPI, DG, and KKG are beautiful girls, some Jaw dropping in fact but this doesn't automatically put them above anyone... and the ones ridiculed as bottom are some of the most amazing girls I have ever met in my life. We are all good for different reasons and I don't think establishing who is hot and not is going to highlight that.

Honestly what we think as sorority girls as the top tier sororities doesn't even actually follow through in recruitment. Last year, Gamma Phi was the highest preferred chapter by PNMs, followed by DG and Kappa. Adpi, Agd, Theta, Aphi, and AOPi after in that order. At other campuses in the States, a bottom of the bottom sorority has every ability to rise to the top tier in just one recruitment year. It's been done. Who knows if it might not happen here too.

This doesn't really mean anything. Every year it changes and don't you think this will be giving pnms a biased opinion going into recruitment? Don't see the point of you posting this. Most chapters have slightly changed over the past year and some of the girls recruiting last year have graduated in all the chapters and there will be new girls recruiting this year, so what you posted is irrelevant because it will change again during formal recruitment. This is just making GPHi look desperate so maybe just stop.

Thanks for clarifying, Hah. That still doesn't mean they were best at recruitment. Tours to invitationals is arguably the easiest step and retention from invitationals to pref is where most sororities lose retention. So ya, if Gamma phi had 4 parties (as did everyone else outside the top 3)based on retention and the top 3 only had 3 each, then gamma phi didn't do as well as jasonaldean is trying to say they did. They clearly did at 4th or worse. Races are one at the finishline, not the starting blocks.
