recruitment advice

For any girls on here thinking of doing recruitment, here's some advice because you should be told more than just "be yourself."

-Even though you'll get emails telling you that it's fine to dress casually, this doesn't mean that you shouldn't be well groomed! Yes, on the first day it might be okay to wear jeans but still make sure that you wash and style your hair, get your nails done, and do your makeup nicely (seriously saying this b/c lots of girls don't)
-Don't get really upset if you get cut from a sorority you really liked. The other sororities that invited you back saw something in you, and at the end of the day with so many girls going through recruitment people have to make quick decisions and it's not personal indication of your character
-That being said, you still want to make a good impression so fill out your application thoughtfully and really emphasize your involvement, being confident and good to talk to in the room no matter which chapter it is, and don't be awkward or weird
