Different chapters have different policies based on their international rules. For some chapters it doesn't matter if you're a legacy, for others it guarantees that you have to be invited back for invitationals but not automatically given a bid etc.

Honestly, not really. I feel like you may get an automatic to Invites (second round) but beyond that, I don’t think very many (if any) chapters automatically except you because you’re a legacy. I mean, some chapters may put more effort into recruiting you because you’re a legacy?

It's pretty much a guaranteed bid for all chapters as like as they like you. If you're weird then maybe not. I've never heard of a legacy who wanted their legacy chapter but wasn't given a bid.

You have to have grades that meet the required average to pledge. My sorority had to drop a legacy first round because her grades weren’t high enough.

As long as you meet the grade requirements, they will 95% chance take you. And if you're coming to UBC from high school, your GPA will obviously be 90%+ since you got into this school so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I've honestly never heaed of a legacy not making it in.
