It will definitely be harder but if you vibe with the girls then you can still get a bid. The bigger issue is that you will be the oldest and with a lot of girls who are 18-19 so you may find it dofgicult to actually get along with the girls in a long term friendship sense. It may be better to look elsewhere if you’re looking for people with your maturity and interest level

I would say give UBC Sororities a chance. There are so many diverse types of women in greek organizations, and even if you don't hit it off with the younger ones, there are probably older members or different people in the chapter you can hit it off with. Don't believe everything you read on greekrank, the most saltiest comments are either trolls or a minority few. Try out recruitment, and there is so MUCH sororities here offer in terms of network, leadership, sisterhood and such. Don't miss out cause of a few awful people, look to see the majority of amazing ones.

Honestly, don’t bother. I’m not saying this to be rude, or because you won’t get in, I’m saying this because you’ll hate it. You will literally be hanging out with 18 and 19 year olds that are a world apart in maturity levels and interests. The women who are your age will be long graduated and some will be advisors. Even if you do join, you will always be seen as “that 25 year old.” There are a lot more communities at UBC that would be a much better fit, Greek life is much more catered to younger students
