its not something that usually happens to girls in first year, if you become super close with a frat they'll give you the title its just like whoever is closest with them

I know a few girls who have won sweetheart in first year but yeah its definitely most common to win in 2nd year

Phi delt's and alpha delt's (the dg one) sweethearts were both freshman when they won. So it actually is very possible to win sweetheart in first year if you have the ambition and drive for it.

Basically spending a lot of time at the house, genuinely getting to know a lot of guys in the frat and maintaining friendships w them, supporting their parties/philanthropy events. But don't just show up uninvited and start doing this stuff, you have to actually either be dating one of the guys or be really tight with one or two of them to begin with or you'll look weird
