didn't get the sorority i wanted

I LOVED one sorority I prefed with and hated the other. I cried when I got my bid today and felt so awful all through preference. What do I do?? I know everyone says to stick it out and it will get better but I genuinely never felt good in this chapter's room during recruitment.

I feel so rejected by the other chapter because they made me feel so loved and I had amazing conversations/really loved their values but then didn't give me a bid :(

Then dont join. The sorority that bid you doesnt needym your sour ass around.

There's spring recruitment! Something might've happened where the other sorority loved you but couldn't give you a bid for some reason. Just try again in the spring.

If you get offered a bid and decline, you can't join a sorority for 1 full year (formal Recruitment 2018)

you should give them a chance – a lot of girls probably wish they had your spot!

Stick it out for a week and if you're really unhappy after that, then drop and do formal recruitment next year! There are so many different factors that affect where you end up and why.

one week? how close-minded are you people? give it a shot until initiation. If you don't like it by then, then drop. That's very selfish of you because someone else could've had your spot and appreciated it much more.
