can i still join in my third year?

I wanted to participate in the spring rush. Will I have a less chance than say, first years since I'm a third year?

You will have less of a chance for sure, but if you are taking a 5th year make sure you mention that! However, is there a reason you're not doing Formal Recruitment? Because sororities will be even more willing to take a third year of you're rushing in the fall and will have more time to be part of the chapter

Definitely too late for Formal Recruitment, as the deadline has past and recruitment already started on Wednesday. However, if you're really interested in joining then still try to go through in the spring! Girls do still join in their third year, especially if they're taking a fifth.

I just went through recruitment, and I definitely got a weird vibe from ALL the sorority girls when I mentioned that i'm in third year. I felt like they were turned off and most of them asked me why I didn't join sooner. At the end of the day, that I didn't go through recruitment sooner as i feel like it plays a role in decision making of the sororities

I only really got to learn about the benefits of sororities this time around (always heard it was just for parties). And it's too late to join Formal rush now, isn't it?
