i believe the only sorority with a minimum grade is theta but i'm honestly not too sure! however every organization considers academics very important. futhermore, your grades are only one part of what girls consider about pnms so your grades will certainly not be a determining factor as personality/involvement/connecting with girls above all the most important thing. i wouldn't worry about "not meeting a standard" as if you are below an organizations minimum grade requirement they cannot accept you but if you're worried this is a good question to ask each house in recruitment! see you there :)

ALL sororities have a minimum grade requirement... yes, Theta's is the strictest and highest, I believe, but all sororities will have minimum grade requirements around mid to high 60s.

In fact, at least when I went through recruitment, you needed to have a 65% to even be eligible.

The minimum GPA requirement for EVERY sorority is 65 - which you probably know as it's on the UBC Sororities website.

Theta has an automatic cutoff if your GPA is below 71.

AOII, Theta, ADPi, AGD, and GPhi all are more strict about grades.

Kappa, DG, and APhi are less strict about it - I've heard girls from all those chapters say if they really like a girl for other things she'll get a bid even if her grades are on the low side.

DG is actually strict about their grades. If you don't meet the requirement then you aren't allowed to go to exchanges or semi/formal (depending which term) and a few other lost privileges for the entire semester.

Adpi makes you go to study hall but no consequences for having bad grades

Too bad multiple DG's have said that they bid girls regardless of grades and that they are far from an "academic" chapter. If they're so strict about grades why do their own members say that they're not? Something doesn't add up there.

Also not being able to go to semi/formal for low grades is a common punishment across the board for most sororities and has nothing to do with PNM's not getting bids or for recruitment GOA's
