wanting to join a different sorority

Has anyone had the experience of wishing they were in a different sorority than the one they're in? I love the girls in my chapter, but sometimes I get the feeling that I would have done a lot better and fit in more in a different one. There's always that sense of "what if" that I have.
In my case, it was for a chapter that I loved but got cut from after Invitationals. However, I now have a lot of friends in that chapter who have said that I would have fit in really well and that recruitment is just a weird process and sometimes you get matched with the wrong people. Obviously that doesn't help my feeling of missing out. Just wondering if anyone else has felt this way and if they have advice...obviously there's nothing I can do about this and it's not productive or useful at all

True I feel the same way too sometimes, that i don't fit in well enough in my frat. The whole what if aspect can be enticing to think about but like others have said, u only go thru all of this once and just gotta try and make the best of it. Because realistically, if we didn't fit in and belong in our chapters we wouldnt have gotten bids :)

yea, 90% of the time I LOVE my sorority and everything about it (I'm talking super obsessive). But then there are times where I wonder what would've happened if I had picked the sorority I crossed rushed (this happens if I'm stressed, or if I'm in an argument/disagreement with a friend).
During preference, I decided to choose the sorority that had girls I wanted to be like in, rather than the sorority where I felt more comfortable and more "at home", ironically. But it all turned out fine at the end because I loved my pledge class and the following pledge classes
