by: CuriousDo legacies matter for sorority recruitment at UBC? I know it's a bigger deal in the States than in Canada, but will the sororities be aware of who the legacies are and does it mean that you'll definitely get invited back?

I can only speak for my chapter but I know it's international's policy that legacies aren't guaranteed a bid - there's an online recommendation form that you can fill out for a PNM going through recruitment if your daughter or whatever is going through, and they're given special consideration, but not guaranteed membership. and this would hold in both the US and Canada
