rank the sororities
by: RavenRank the sororities in order of how great their chapter as a whole. Which one has the prettiest girls that are also nice, philanthropic and party? which one has the uggos that never go out or participate??

don't be so cynical......some people just like other people and don't think grades should define whether or not they should be part of a sisterhood. good grades are great but they don't define you.

Rankings are usually based on a criteria of many different things. Of course all sororities have great girls and bad girls but in terms of rankings it's the general success of the sorority.
Kappa has really improved in recent years and have proven that they aren't just stupid blondes trying to have fun and get wasted all the time (which is what they used to be known for).
- Recruitment: Kappa is known for consistently doing well during recruitment. They usually recruit if not the best, the second best pledge class. They have never had an inherently bad pledge class.
- Academic: In the past Kappa's have not been known for academics at all but the highest GPA award recipient was a Kappa. They also do not have the highest but in the higher ranges of grades compared to others like DG. Gamma Sigma Alpha was also predominantly ran by Kappas in it's first few years.
- Awards/Accomplishments: Kappa's are pretty competitive and even though they don't necessarily win everything (phil events, songfest, etc.) they definitely don't participate to lose and usually win. They also clearly won the most awards at panhel Awards last year which was the most surprising thing ever.
- Social life: This is a no-brainer. They are definitely known to have a good time which is why they are constantly criticized for not staying "Kappa Klassy"
- Appearance (this is the obvious one): They are definitely easy on the eyes
- Frat relations (not important but obviously a factor): Most frats love them
