Your exec could obviously give you the best details but understandably you won't really want to bring that up unless you're totally sure about doing it. Myself and another sister left our sorority, basically we let some of the exec know initially through text/not showing up to our next event. We were really active members of our sororities so exec, our alumn advisor and some sisters put on several like "mediation" meetings with us trying to convince us to stay... In other words they grovelled, they even bought us gifts and crafted things for us lolol. Anyways we decided to still go through with it so they brought us in (one at a time) to an exec meeting where they ask you questions that I assume was required by nationals (they filled out some form, basically just wanted to gather info as to why I wanted to drop.) It's kinda awkward cause all of exec is staring at you and (in my case) were very pissed at me. You sign some papers and then FREEDOM haha jk. Not sure if that answers your question or not but it's a huge decision so if you have any questions feel free to ask :) Obviously since I'm on this site right now I'm still attached to Greek life! Just chose the wrong house unfortunately
