So recruitment is coming up and if you're having trouble differentiating the sororities:

DG - popular, instafamous
Kappa - well liked by frats, prestigious, been top sorority for a while
Gamma Phi - love getting dressed up, nails done hair done type, always win Sigma Chi sweetheart (top frat)
ADPI- most well rounded, won quite a few sweethearts this year
APHI- known for their supportive sisterhood, kind, bubbly, always there for you and their new girls are quite good looking
Theta- smart and sweet, innocent girls next door, usually win top GPA
AGD- athletic, down to earth, the realest of the real
AOPI- the newest sorority, inclusive, want to help you get to your best in terms of grades and leadership skills

Kappa is definitely killing it this year, but they were not the top sorority four years ago. it goes to show how much one or two pledge classes can improve your chapter :)

but unless u want to relive high school and be categorized into cliques and drama i would avoid DG and Gamma Phi
