What is a Phi-Delt Girl? Two girls wore "Phi Girl" shirts in my first year Residence building this year and I was wondering what it means to be the "girl" of a fraternity? Does this mean you are a member of some in-between group, or just that you're the main girls they like? Do other fraternities have these too?

A Phi Girl is essentially a girl who supports or makes an effort with the boys in the fraternity over the past few years. For the most part it is the boys who are dating girls inviting their girlfriends(obviously), and the girls who frequently hang around the house at events invited by their friends in the fraternity! They throw them a little party gathering and give back appreciation for their social support! I think it's a great idea and I was happy to be a part of it this year.

it does not mean that "you're the main girl they like". One guy chose the girls since he is their PR chair (or something like that).

Hi! So ____- girls are quite common amongst frats (i.e. KSig Girls, FIJI Girls, DKE Girls, Beta Girls, etc). They're just girls who are generally very close with the members of that fraternity, are always around and supportive of them (philanthropy, sports, etc). These girls are show appreciation by being given the title _____ Girl which can come with perks (cannot say for sure though since this info is just from a friend who is a _____ Girl). It's just something fraternities do to show appreciation for the girls who are close to them!
