What does it mean to cross rush another sorority? How do I cross rush another sorority?

if you do formal rush, in the last round you pref two sororities. the one you don't choose/get into is the sorority you cross rushed. ex. if you visit kappa and gphi but pcik kappa u cross rushed gphi
