Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 5.0 I rushed this year and went to all 8 chapters in UBC, so I had experience with all of them. In AOP, atmosphere is different from all other sororities. Here girls do not try to look "super nice" in front of each other. They accept each other will all the mistakes they can make and do not judge anyone for that. It is interesting that these girls wear less makeup than in other sororities as well - I suppose, they are not afraid to be themselves with all their natural flaws in front of each other.

I rushed this year and went to all 8 chapters in UBC, so I had experience with all of them. In AOP, atmosphere is different from all other sororities. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 1.8 Super awkward experience during recruitment. These girls were just so hard to talk to. The conversations felt pushy and forced. I couldn't get a sense of their sisterhood. Most other rooms I could have a simple and nice conversation in, but this one I could not.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 4.0 Tbh I wasn't entirely sure about the girls but I felt much better during Invitationals. Some of these girls are amazing and I really would like to go back for the next round.

My RC said I had to go anyway to the rooms and they were surprisingly nice and chill. I liked their video and the girls I talked to this round. (Tours ones were awks). The leadership stuff is true like I read on this site, they sell it a lot.

They will drop you anyway and be upset that they had to go back to your sorority instead of another one they wanted more. A lot of girls at invitationals were upset that they had to go back to yours instead of another sorority.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 2.2 I went through tours on Saturday and was definitely trying to keep an open mind but...the girls I met in this chapter were just so awful to talk to. The conversation was forced, they were really boring, and I asked questions but still didn't get a sense of their values or sisterhood. I was just waiting for it to be over. I'm sure other people might have had a better experience, but the girls I met just made me feel uncomfortable.
