Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.8 Not motivated? The last AMS president, and current member of the board of governors, was a phidelt. They won greek week last year. That dude with the most REC points at ubc is a phidelt. And they have all kinds of academically gifted guys there - don't judge the entire fraternity based on a couple guys. I'm friends with a lot of the guys and they're generally misunderstood And them decorating panhel for the last two valentines days suggested they're not that disrespectful of sororities...chill

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 1.6 The problem with these guys is not their clothing. The problem is that they're not gentlemen, they're not motivated, they're very pretentious, they're disrespectful of all other fraternities/sororities , and they're very unkind to many people. They alienate a lot of people and they always love to stir the pot. That is why they are disliked so much.

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.2 I recently met a couple of them in a non party setting. Once I met them I realized a couple things. They have a very different sense of humour - the "douchey" things they say are just jokes. They're actually really nice and will do anything they can to help you once you get to know them. They also don't care that a lot of people dislike them- I asked them about it and why they don't change and they answered that they joined for the brothers, not for anybody else - that's true brothership

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 4.0 Wow so much unjustified hatred now. All these claims of douchyness or unclassiness? Care to name them, all I see are complaints about their clothes? These guys are different but more in the refined way. Ya they like to wear blazers, khakis and boat shoes, who cares? Sorry, it's also unclassy just to judge others for what they wear. I've seen the way they treat people, sure, they don't put everyone on a pedestal, but really, not everyone deserves to be put on a pedestal right from the getgo

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.2 I wish the older actives showed their face more because Phi Delt is getting a terrible rep thanks to basically two loud in your face individuals (well all know by now who I mean). They are hard to get to know because some of the faces of Phi Delt are so douchey, but there are some really good guys hidden in there. I love to study with them and not in a party setting they're awesome to hang with. It'll be interesting to see what the new pledge class looks like...

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 2.2 Very unclassy group of guys. Try hards about most things. They even try too hard to be "chill." It's just weird and annoying. Disliked by most of greek community.

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 1.6 Take it from a guy who is going through rush... Don't. Go. Here. Unless you like the typical douche bag frat that tries SO hard to be cool, spare yourself, and check out other fraternities.

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 4.0 "If joining a frat is about dressing up, networking, getting a good job and hanging at prestigious clubs join these guys" EXACTLY. If you're not joining the Greek system for these reasons you're the problem, not the awesome guys in the system like the phi delts. Are they arrogant? yes. Do they have some amazing guys that I couldn't imagine Uni without? Even more so. If you just want to get high and mess up your life don't pledge.... I hear the Downtown Eastside is good for that

Phi Delta Theta - ΦΔΘ Fraternity at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.6 These guys are really, really fratty. They have a lot of athletes, AMS people and guys with good marks but they are really focused on future success and trying to do well in the future. Live in the present. You should enjoy college, it's about discovering yourself not preparing you for your future life. These guys hardly smoke up at all. If joining a frat is about dressing up, networking, getting a good job and hanging at prestigious clubs join these guys. If you want to chill out look elsewhere
