The problem with them is I don't think they realize they have any problems. They are very transparent and obvious in their attempts to create an image so it comes off very unnatural. They've got some pretty decent guys in their membership but they need to actively stop the guys who give their organization a bad name because they're not generally favoured in the Greek system and it doesn't have to be that way. Decent parties. Selection of involved brothers/leaders. Rising dominance in system.

These guys get a lot of hate, especially on this website. Whilst it isn't completely without provocation, a lot of the negative reviews I see are either extreme exaggerations of what they are or are completely slanderous all together. That being said, I can honestly say that a lot of them are some of the nicest, most courteous gentlemenI've met in the greek system, at least with regard to their newer members.

Some of their actions and dress does come off a little "try-hardy" but that shouldn't take away from everything else that they do. It's very possible to have good genuine relations with these guys, they attempt to throw good parties, and they've got a handful of guys involved on campus. If they were just a touch classier they'd be even higher rated.

Phi Delt has really come a long way in recent years. I have seen them go from barely being relevant, to easily one of the most core fraternities on campus. They have really branched out to more than their usual three sororities, have been really involved with Panhel philanthropies, and have been doing phenomenal with their PR. Not to mention that their last two pledge classes have been absolute gems. I'm glad to see that they are where they are today :)

Our exchange with them was easily my favorite of the term, and I think I speak for most of my sister when I say that they without a doubt one of our top! :)
