Sigma Chi, Beta, FIJI are the top fraternities at UBC. In that order. They had a really strong pledge class this year and are improving in a lot of areas.

previously i thought sigma chi was a great fraternity, but it turns out that they are very self centered and are only interested in gettin in my pants. This years group seems to be a step down from previous years. I try to stay clear of sigma chi events from now on

I don't think that they lack values for aspects of greek life like the person below, but its obvious they've isolated themselves. They're truly a great group of guys, and they're always fun to party with. But they need to remember two things: (1) part of the Greek system is being Greek, take part in it, (2) be open to more people. Honestly, these two things get fixed and you'll remain top tier for years to come.

Phi Delt is on the rise. Any strength in fraternity is good for the greek system. But a bit of advice from an onlooker: try to have at least a BIT of class (that goes for you too, new guys) because right now you have zero. Second, fratty looks and clothing is awesome but let it come naturally, most of you look fake. Third, don't stir the pot for the sake of it. You're gaining a bad reputation for screwing things up. Seem to like to have a good time though, and their brotherhood seems strong.

Alternative? Yes. Skinny jeans? Who cares. Classy? No, not really. These are a good group of guys, quite a few lookers in the bunch, and they like to have a good time. I don't know why skinny jeans is a bad thing -- as long as they're going for a consistent image. They just need to work on classing it up a bit. Seems like they might be back on the upswing again after falling to the bottom for a while.

It's cute that they came on here to rank themselves. It probably is partly due to their house, but they're not even in the game. I know these rankings really don't mean much, but there are so many other houses that should be in the #2 spot on here. AEPi? Are you kidding me?

I only joined the greek system this year but from what i've seen I truthfully do think these guys seem underrated, They are the best dressed fraternity and the closed parties i've been to were really good. But i do agree with previous comments that they tend to push things too far which is a shame as they can be so sweet. The guys I know are super fun and easy to get on with and they got the best and strongest pledge class this year the benefits of which are clear already. one to keep an eye on!
