by: FreshmanJust got accepted here but I want an honest review of the party scene at this school. Everyone I’ve talked to said parties of 100+ more people are extremely rare, is this true?

Generally yeah. The only ones of 100+ are avatar (chi phi) and taumorrowland but chi phi is suspended so that’s a bust for next year. Mixers can be fun. Def a good idea to rush or get involved in a sport bc without either you’re not gonna have mixers. Yes, the parties here aren’t ragers like they are at a state school. But the nice thing about them is you know someone everywhere you go. If people didn’t have such a negative attitude toward the nightlife here they would have a lot more fun
